ABOUT

Frederik is a Berlin based costume designer and stylist working across film, theatre/performance, fashion and commercials. Over the years he has been part of projects that received international recognition, including productions distinguished with awards such as the Student Academy Award. 

His practice is rooted in collaboration. Working closely with directors, performers and creative teams, he develops costumes that not only support the vision of a project but also enrich its narrative and visual language.

For Frederik, one of the most rewarding aspects of his profession is the exchange of ideas and the lasting professional relationships that grow out of each collaboration.

Based in Berlin yet comfortable in international contexts, he enjoys adapting to new environments and working with diverse crews. This openness has led to meaningful partnerships and a steadily expanding creative network across borders.

Frederik is proud of the range of projects he has contributed to, spanning independent productions, fashion collaborations and commercial campaigns. His work has been part of projects for institutions and brands such as Berliner Festspiele, AUTRE Magazine, 3sat, Prague City Gallery, Kunsthalle Bratislava, YESEYESEE and CEE CEE Berlin.
